Love and Legacy
The story of Starlove Ranch is woven with the threads of our own love story. It was here that Davey brought Hollie to this family heirloom property for the first time for a birthday getaway, a trip that marked the beginning of a lifetime together and solidified the Ranch as a special destination for their relationship. From long weekends under starry skies to cosmic campout parties, this land witnessed the growth of our relationship. Eventually, under these same stars, we exchanged vows and named the property Starlove Ranch—a testament to the love that permeates every inch of the land.
Homesteading and Harmony
Our hearts knew that Starlove Ranch was where we wanted to build our forever home and bring our dreams of homesteading to life. However, this journey was not without challenges. As vegans, we were dedicated to protecting the lives of the farm animals that called the Ranch home. Balancing this commitment with our desire to cultivate a thriving wild ecosystem required extensive knowledge and a holistic approach. This marked the beginning of our quest to harmoniously integrate rescued animals with the wild, respecting both the land and the land’s inhabitants.
A Sanctuary for All
In time, our dedication to creating a harmonious coexistence led us to establish Starlove Sanctuary as a 501(c)3 non-profit organization. Rooted in the principles of compassion and interconnectedness, the sanctuary embodies our commitment to the wellbeing of every being on the land. With unwavering community support, Starlove Sanctuary thrives as a symbol of hope and harmony.
Celestial Celebrations & Healing
Our journey extended beyond the sanctuary's borders as we opened the gates of Starlove Ranch to other lovers of the natural world. Leveraging our background in event production, we created a space where others could craft their own unforgettable experiences. Starlove Ranch stands as a sanctuary not only for wildlife but also for the seekers of healing, connection, and celebration.
